If it’s one thing Japanese gyaru models know, it’s circle lenses. But with so many lens designs around at the moment, it must be a challenge to come up with a new design that’s not only pretty, but looks different enough to set itself apart from the existing favourites. The bar has been set high by Tsubasa Masuwaka’s Bambi series and Kumiko Funayama’s Puream lenses. With that in mind, Geo Starmish, designed by yet another Popteen model, Mai Hirose, is a truly unique design, and to me, achieves both vividness and naturalness.

The packaging of Geo Starmish would suggest that this is another Princess Mimi lens.

The design features a defined black border and a golden brown inner ring. Unlike most lens designs, the  inner ring doesn’t fade away to create a gradation between the iris and pupil. This creates the illusion of dilated pupils, which, inexplicably looks cute and very dolly. The design itself is very intricate and detailed.

I’ve always said that I prefer a 15.0 mm size lens, but while Geo Starmish is only 14.5 mm, a relatively small lens, the enlarging effect is fantastic. I suppose this has something to do with how vivid it looks.
As Geo Starmish is opaque, it shows up vividly even on my very dark eyes.
I would say the closet lens to Geo Starmish is the Geo Princess Mimi Bambi Chocolate Brown, but only in the sense that both designs are very opaque. The designs are dramatically different.

As for comfort, I found these lenses to be very comfortable. However, you will need to keep these moist throughout the day to maintain comfort levels.
