Just to be clear. I am talking about pants. I mean, in leg wear, isn’t everyone looking for something black, tight and shiny? – Not surprisingly, because the combination is super flattering. The American Apparel Disco Pant may just be the worlds most slimming pants (pants? tights? I’m not sure what category they fit into). I’m still undecided, however, as to whether they are just that little bit too tight to be appropriate for day – I’m a firm believer that tights are not pants. What are your views?

My new favourite thing is my Zara Biker Coat – ‘is that one jacket, or one on top of another?’ was my housemate’s first reaction. I just love the faux layered look. A while ago I talked about how it’s totally ok to wear two jackets at once, but I think this gorgeous Zara coat is probably the more practical strategy.
