Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color is, as the name suggests, designed for a variety of uses including as a creme blush, lip colour, creme eyeshadow or anything else you can think of. It comes in five shades:
- PK001 Blueberry Cheese Cake
- PK002 Strawberry Chiffon Cake
- OR202 Peach Sugar Cake
- RD301 Raspberry Mousse Cake
- OR201 Orange Choux Cake.
Each tin has its own unique design, reflecting the ‘flavour’ of the cupcake. I think it would be dificult for anyone to resist buying the whole set just to display them next to each other. Today I’m reviewing OR202, Peach Sugar Cake.
A first look at Cupcake All Over Color gives you the impression that it’s a waxy balm, but it’s actually more of a creme colour. The product smells so very peachy that you just want to eat it.
While in the tin, the colour of Peach Sugar Cake looks like a rather deep pink, on the skin it’s a decidedly pastel peach with light pigmentation. The texture is powder and the finish is matte.
As a blush, the effect of Cupcake All Over Color Peach Sugar Cake on me is a subtle pink glow which looks very natural. The colour is slightly builable, but should show up much more vividly on lighter skin tones.
I love the peach colour on lips, but due to the matte powder consistency, it would be best to wear a clear gloss over the top.
Overall, I think Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color is a wonderfully versatile and easy to use product. Peach Sugar Cake is a natural and subtle pink that looks great on the cheeks and lips. You might also use this colour on your eyes as a creme eyeshadow base. Best of all, though, Cupcake All Over Color is such a cute little product to just own and display on your vanity table!
