Night 4 of FASHFEST was freakishly cold (or perhaps a normal level of cold for Canberra…), so I decided to break out the winter layering early this season with some blazer x cardigan action. I’m not one to zealously adhere to seasonal colour codes, but Staple the Label’s ‘Blue Bayou’ blazer with edgy leather panels is fashionable camouflage for cold days, with an abstract rose print that brings to mind ice sculptures and northern lights. I packed on the insulation with luxe WISH Decide Cardi and kept it simple on the bottom with a pencil skirt, also by Staple the Label – remember this rib mesh number from my Levitation post?
Big thanks to Sianne Fitzsimons and Mussen Canberra for dressing me for the FASHFEST. At a time like this I wish there was a ‘Most Warmly Dressed’ award! See? You can dress warmly without looking like the Marshmellow Man.
All items but my heels are available in store at Mussen – 17 Mort Street Canberra – or on their website!
Also, get a taste of what was on the runway on FASHFEST Night 4 on my runway rundown post!
