As always, my life can be succinctly summed up by a few tiny squares of activities and items shot in flatlay form. Looking back at March on Instagram, it’s a bit troubling that I’ve clearly become quite obsessed with brunches. With my day job, brunch is an indulgence for weekends only, so inevitably it’s become an highly anticipated affair. It’s come to the point that I find myself planning brunch all week. I even look up menus online, perusing the subtly different variations on Eggs Benedict and French Toast on different sides of town. Because nothing is worse than a disappointing brunch – you only get two tries at it a week – so picking a good brunch location is paramount.

Funnily, jeans is another item that’s been sneakily making its way onto my Instagram feed. It used to be that I wouldn’t be caught dead in jeans. I was convinced they weren’t flattering on me. But later I realised it was just because I wasn’t buying the right ones. That realisation has turned to a fixation. It was jeans with everything in March.

What was March all about for you?
