What is ‘maxi shirting‘? I don’t know. I just made it up. But like all clever phrases you think you might have coined, someone else came up with it years ago.
I’ve always had on my list a classic button up shirt that’s so long that it doesn’t make sense. Luckily for me London brand Pippa Lynn loves to take risks and on all the right points. So of course they had the coolest asymmetric maxi shirt, and they were kind enough to send me one. One of the perks of being a blogger is being able to say you’re one of the first to find out about up and coming brands. Pippa Lynn’s SS ’14 collection, ‘Step Forward’ incorporates sports luxe and street style themes with modern tailoring, clean lines and structured details – a lot of words which are code for, ‘everything I’m loving right now’. I’ve seen the other styles in the collection, and trust me, it’s fresh. Think embossed sweats and souped up gym pants and mesh paneled everything.
I’ve got so many ideas for styling this super edgy maxi shirt so keep a lookout for more outfits to come!
