One thing that always gets me excited – brunches aside – is when materials are used in unconventional ways. Leather sweatpants is just one of these awesome little paradoxes. It doesn’t even make sense when you think about it. They’re of absolute no use for jogging in. In fact, they’ll most likely hinter physical activities more than anything else. In any case, when you’ve got a pair of beautifully made pants in butter soft nappa leather, no way would you risk getting them sweaty. So why the heck would anyone make leather sweatpants? Maybe it’s because it just looks cool; maybe it’s to confuse people. This perfect specimen of a leather sweatpant is by Aussie brand Winston Wolfe – I’m in the middle of a love affair with this brand at the moment.
I’m sure it surprises no one that I’ve decided to go monochrome with this outfit. Although my brand of black and white is more just all black with a piece of white thrown in. Don’t even get me started on how perfect this men’s sleepwear T shirt from Bonds is. It’s got a little thickness to it to give the tee a bit of structure, and I love a roomy sleeve that falls all the way to the elbow. Since I love a slouchy fit and a nice crew neck, I so rarely find a women’s tee shirt I like. It’s just not fair is it? Boys’ clothes are just so cool.
