I think I’ve come to the end of that whole buying the ‘style-of-the-season’ thing with winter coats. Last year it was the biker coat, the year before that it was the trench coat, and the year before that it was military. Who has the money to keep up with the trends? Despite this puffer jacket being over four years old, it’s just so me – clean cut, oversized, and not at all feminine, perfect for the minimalism phase I’m going through.
In other news, I’m going through somewhat of a trouser obsession. However, having looked high and low in all the obvious places on the high street and online, I’ve decided that they no longer make the kind of trouser I want to wear, so I’ve turned to my local op shops. This vintage pair with a tapered cut (only $7) was exactly what I was looking for, and best of all, it’s grey – my favourite colour. Wow, if I had said that in my first grade ‘about me’ assignment, I would probably have been pegged as the emo kid of the class.
