The white top and black skirt ensemble is a pretty well trodden path, but I love the idea of flipping the paradigm on its head – literally. Black and white. In that order. Today I’m top to tail Dead Ivy in their ‘After Midnight’ zip jacket and ‘Keep Calm’ white skirt. This jacket is so on point for me. Tailored but relaxed, with simple but bold metal detailing. A white skirt is something most people probably like to stay away from. But why? For me, you can’t much cooler than a clean cut white skirt to compliment minimal chic looks.
Sure, I could have worn an actual top under this outfit, but I couldn’t risk spoiling a perfect lapel situation. I couldn’t wait till summer came around to wear my Triangl ‘Tilly’ neoprene bikini, so why not a bikini top for day wear?
Finishing off today’s look are my Proenza Schouler PS11 and Jessica Buurman ‘Alina’ Strappy Heels.

I really love this choice of outfits! I won’t dare putting only a bikini top if I’m not around a beach, but it’s damn cool. I must admit this bikini is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen, so it deserved to be shown. I like the botom shape of the blazer which draw a minimal line on the skirt; it’s beautiful =)
