I definitely wasn’t one to question the merits of the wedge high top when Isabel Marant’s cult Bekett turned upon the scene last year. For me, they made all kinds of sense, and I was obsessed. The irony, of course, is that these would be completely unsuitable for any actual sporting use. In fact, if you tried to job in them I’m pretty sure you’ll break your leg. For long walks on a holiday, however, they do quite nicely. These all white wedge high tops are from Jessica Buurman, answered all my wishes in the perfect comfort x style shoe.
I went for comfort all the way with this outfit with an oversized navy turtle neck and black skinny jeans. Funny how all I wear is turtle necks these days. I guess I like being able to neatly tuck my unruly hair away. Maybe that’s my subconscious trying to subtly tell me that I badly need a hair cut.
