When you get sick of wearing your actual clothes , why not go out on a night in your bedclothes instead? Case in point, exhibit one (i.e. me) wears your preverbal underwear and bathrobe combination (i.e. Zara slip dress and Boohoo.com pink jacket), complete with satiny pyjama fabrics and informal unstructured tailoring.

Admittedly, I’ve become just a little bit obsessed with pastel pink outerwear, still unable to shake the impact that Carven F/W 2013 had on me. Pink jackets as a wardrobe option dropped like a bomb right in the middle of my monochromatic sartorial bubble. Being as it may, a colour, I still believe pastel pink can be minimal and understated. Provided, of course, that it’s an androgynous pink piece. Is that an oxymoron?
