What comes to mind when you think trench coats? Film Noir detectives? Burberry? Flashers? Well today’s post is about none of those things. It’s just me being Weekend Jiawa, trying to find any excuse to wear my track pants and Birkenstocks as actual fashion. Add one relaxed trench coat and some minimal jewellery, and you’ve got yourself an outfit. Recently I love anything that’s unstructured, especially if it typically should be. For that reason, I find trench coats made with soft, drape-y materials, like this Front Row Shop mac, a little bit exciting.

As for these track pants, they were an opportune purchase from Kmart in Albury Wodonga while road-tripping to Melbourne with my girl Heather from Heatstorm Blog. I’d forgotten my pyjamas for the trip, of course.  I briefly entertained the idea of sleeping in the nude in some dingy motel (whad’ya know, this blog post is about flashing), but trust me to turn any situation into a retail experience. Generic track pants are always perfectly normcore, and for about $10, you can afford to completely trash them.

The first thing that comes to mind is spies 🙂 Haha. But I love your trench coat. I typically prefer my outerwear and clothes in general to be a bit more fitted, but I’m really digging your outfit!
