Somehow, off the shoulder was not a trend I expected to fall in love with. It’s only because I’m now old enough to have seen trends circle back on me, and when I was in school, off the shoulder everything was the shiz. All the cool kids were wearing them, and there I was in my 80’s hand-me-downs. If I had any concept of retro-chic back in those days. My childhood insecurities aside, off the shoulder is sure to be a recurring trend for summer this year.

Having always had something on the shoulders for the best of a decade, I must say, with not so much as a spaghetti strap holding my threads up, one does feel a sort of a thrill of flashing ‘too much skin’ (but they’re just shoulders, after all). This off the shoulder crop top from Missguided AU, in combination with a plunging neckline, was way too sexy-cool for me to resist nabbing one for myself straight away. Now if only I had the knockers to fill it.

      P.S. Big “knockers” are overrated.
