Recently I’ve made it a bit of a mission of mine to show that active wear isn’t just for the gym, and can be amazing to wear everyday. My favourite active wear piece has got to be the terrycloth track pant. And why not? They’re comfortable, slouchy chic and effortless. And as we move into autumn and winter, they are the perfect transeasonal piece – warm and versatile. Wear them with sneakers, boots, or even heels if you dare. So when I was invited to participate in a style challenge hosted by one of my favourite Australian brands, Staple the Label, together with The Minimalist, Naked Vice and QT Gold Coast, I took this opportunity to style Staple the Label’s amazing ribbed track pant to create a sleek transeasonal outfit. Read on for details of what I’m wearing!
I love styling track pants with a light weight trench coat to continue the relaxed minimalist theme. Today I’ve done something fun and layered my jacket over this insanely cool For Love & Lemons bra. Layering light weight piece is perfect for the Perth autumn, which is characterised by warm days and cold afternoons. As the weather cools, I would not hesitate to throw on a chunky knit and swap out my Adidas slides for a pair of boots.
