Why wear a shirt right when you can wear it wrong – as a drape front shirt?

I’m loving the drape front shirt at the moment – sexy-cool and so versatile. But as I went to hit the ‘add to cart’ button the other day, I stopped to wonder – why not just wear a regular shirt as a drape front shirt?

Turning your regular shirt into a drape front shirt is as easy as wearing your basic shirt unbuttoned, crossing the front over, then tucking into your favourite jeans. I found my perfect pairing with my Dricoper Miley Low-Slung jeans, which took this outfit to the next level of relaxed minimalism. This trick would also work amazingly with an oversized men’s shirt borrowed from the boyfriend.

And what better way to top off the haphazard v-neck you’ve created than to let a sexy luxe lace bralette peek through? I picked mine up from Me and Moo Boutique in Bondi during my trip to Sydney for Fashion Week last month. In my book, underwear is just another category of outerwear when the context is right.
