Part 2 of my 1888 Hotel Sydney experience – inside the Williamson Room

Wearing: Light Weight TrenchHello Parry | Lace Dress and Printed Ball Skirt – Pink Stitch the Label

Within the feverish prismatic haze that was Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, all the way back in April this year (how time flies!), Kurt of Blogger’s Boyfriend and I had one occasion for intermission at Sydney’s iconic 1888 Hotel in Pyrmont. On my very last heel-walking legs, head spinning with the haunting water nymphs at Maticevski and a surreal sitting at the bottom of Bondi Icebergs (for the Ten Pieces showing), I would stumble through our private double door entrance into the Williamson Room’s grand three tiered interior, to find, as per daily routine, Kurt already asleep in the loft bedroom above, and a mess of takeaway bags, minibar leftovers, and uncapped beauty products strewn across our retro bar counter (for such, as I found out, is the untamed lifestyle of this streetstyle photographer). Finding the silver lining of a bathroom and spa sized bathtub all to myself, there was nothing left to do but to empirically ponder that age-old question – just how many roses does it take to fill a bathtub?

Curiouser and curiouser? Read Part I of my 1888 Hotel review.

Thanks so much Helen my dear! We struggled so much because both of us only brought our prime lenses, and the room was really not that big so it was hard to get more of the room into each shot!
