H&M Studio AW 2015

H&M Studio AW 2015 Collection and the much anticipated H&M Perth Opening

Wearing: All apparel – H&M Studio AW 2015 (releasing in September 2015) | Adidas Superstar Sneakers | Over the Knee Boots – Betts (similar) | WatchCluse Watches Silver Bracelet – The Minimal Jewelry | Satchel Bag – Proenza Schouler |

A day dream about future in space – or, more pertinently, the hypothetical fashions of an intergalactic lifestyle – may well have landed you on the runway of H&M Studio AW 2015 at Paris Fashion Week this year. That is, perhaps, after a 70’s retrofuturism film marathon – a delightfully naïve futurespective, and with that entailing as much sparkly fabric and thigh high boot action as would have graced the set of Barbarella.

Yet having set an altogether un-minimal scene, even a minimalist like yours truly will want a piece of the versatile H&M Studio AW 2015 offerings for their own. The psychedelic chevron printed silks and epic beaded knitwear will undoubtedly set the tone for this year’s trends. But I’ve claimed my navy spectrum of luxe wool outerwear, crisp tailoring (done in lightweight metallic fabrics) and flared legs, with a splicing of utilitarian quilted thermal elements – the same is also set to be available in the new blacks of the season, burgundy and khaki green.

As for the men’s side of the collection, see how Blogger’s Boyfriend and Simply Monochrome Co rocked theirs.

The release of the very limited H&M Studio AW 2015 collection in September this year coincides with the opening of the first H&M store in Perth on 29 August, at Lakeside Joondalup. Will I see you at the grand opening 9 am sharp?

Goooorgeous! So relaxed and chic! Love how you paired this look with sneakers, even though I would have to put heels with it. Maybe if I were taller then I wouldn’t mind wearing flats every once in awhile. 🙂 These boots are going in my closet, though. Goodbye, paycheck!

Aw that means so much babe! To be honest I was a bit worried about this editorial because I had so many dark colours on top of each other, and was afraid it will all just blend together haha.

      1. Well you know me, you can never overdo it on the black. But I know what you mean about it not translating in the photos. I think you’ve edited these perfectly though. Love the moodiness of it!

        1. Jiawa Liu says :

haha I think my instinct is always to edit photos all emo…like how I shot photos in China during the middle of summer and people were commenting that it actually looks like winter :/

  9. Love the long coat the the turtleneck dress, I gotta go and check it out myself xx
