Though the fur is classed as sustainable, it nonetheless divided opinions and caused quite a stir. Whichever camp you’re in when it comes to the fur-lined loafer, this style has become this year’s viral shoe of the moment. It served as streetstyle photographer bait across the fashion week circuit, with bloggers and streetstyle stars alike sporting them in every which way.

These bad boys add that luxe quirk to any outfit. To extend the men’s style inspired flavour, pair them with a tapered crop pant or a tailored short, and of course, letting those ankles show. As this is twist on a timeless style, the fur-lined loafer is a surprisingly versatile statement shoe that will blend effortlessly with any wardrobe.

  1. Daft, isn’t it. Torturing and killing animals just so lots of people can spend over the odds to walk around looking just like everyone else. It would have been nice for you to promote ethical faux fur versions. Gucci’s use of kangaroo fur, and other companies’ similar exploitation of angora rabbits and the like is more than ‘quite a stir’.
